What this small sample shows
The five monthly full-electric offers have a median base rate of $250, with observed rates from $125 to $255. The five monthly semi-electric offers have a median of $200, with observed rates from $115 to $250. Each category includes five different supplier domains. These are descriptions of the selected offers, not national averages or the full cost of a rental.
In these two small groups, the median full-electric rate is $50 higher. That does not establish the upgrade price at a particular supplier. A mattress, deposit or delivery charge can change the practical comparison.

Weekly and 28-day prices stay separate
The sample also includes one weekly full-electric offer, two 28-day offers in different bed categories, and one monthly hi/low offer. We show those individually below. They are too few to summarize meaningfully, and none is converted into a calendar-month rate.
The monthly label is preserved as published. Ask the supplier to explain the exact renewal date; this report does not assume that every “month” equals 30 days.

Why the base rate is only a starting point
These examples show the differences hidden behind a headline rate. Unknown costs stay unknown; an unlisted pickup fee is not treated as free. Service areas are examples, so confirm the full destination address.

How the sample was built
We started with 950 bed rows in 627 location-specific supplier listings across 262 city guides. Repeated city appearances do not count as new suppliers. The inventory reduces to 386 website/product/category keys; catalog collisions and conflicting records are retained in the audit.
We manually reviewed a deliberately selected subset with readable, fixed prices. The final sample contains 14 offers from 7 supplier domains. Most inventory records were not reopened for this study. “Outside manual review” is a scope limit, not a claim that an offer is inaccurate.
- Group by supplier website, exact canonical product URL and recorded bed type. Preserve meaningful URL query parameters.
- Keep original billing periods; do not convert weeks, 28 days or first-month specials into comparable monthly amounts.
- Exclude unclear prices, unclassified bed types and conflicting rate selections. Count each retained key once.
- Calculate a category median only with at least five offers from at least five domains. A domain is an ownership proxy, not proof of separate corporate ownership.
- Use the middle sorted price for odd sample sizes and the mean of the two middle prices for even sizes.

What the report cannot tell you
This convenience sample is small, geographically uneven and selected for price clarity. It cannot estimate national or citywide average prices, determine the cheapest supplier, measure market availability or tell you what your insurance will pay.
Offers are not standardized packages. We have not calculated the percentage of suppliers including mattresses, delivery or pickup because those terms were not systematically classified. Different domains may share an owner, and several models can share one catalog page.
We reviewed published web information, which may include cached pages; we did not call suppliers, inspect equipment or place rental orders. Confirm a dated quote and the exact supplied model before booking.
